Community Midwives

The midwives work with us to provide care before and after delivery.  The midwife has a clinic here on Friday mornings, by appointment only booked via our reception.

Health Visitor

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Counsellors

Counselling is available via ‘Talk Liverpool’, a service provided by Merseycare NHS trust.  Patients can self-refer for this service by telephoning 0151 228 2300.

Graduate health care workers – can offer support & help to people affected by depression and anxiety.

Social Prescriber

Our Social Prescriber can work with you to identify your non-medical needs and support you to access the right service for you.

The Social Prescriber for our surgery is Noor Islam.  Noor has years of experience of working within local communities and general practice.

Steven can offer support in these areas:

  • Social development
  • Financial Issues
  • Housing concerns
  • Family concerns

Attached Staff

The Macmillan Nurse visits and cares for cancer patients in their homes and gives advice and support to their families.

Social Services help with many social problems.  Their team includes the Home Help Organiser, Social Workers & Occupational Therapists.
